Domain Typo Traffic

Hi,

I got a misspelled/typo domain and I want if possible to get an estimate on it’s value and traffic. Basically I am mainly interested in traffic…

It is not a trademark but a generic word, however those that own the domain with the generic word are extremely popular and advertise heavily.

For example lets say that the actual domain is smashthis.com and my domain is smaxhthis.com (this domains are not involved in reality just used them for an example)

It is a one-letter difference of the letter “S” and the letter “X”
Which “X” is right under “S”

They get an average of 816,000 monthly unique visitors, so what traffic should I expect?

I was thinking about expecting 1% of traffic however this may not be a realistic number.
