No it's not spammy, it's also not good either as far as titles go.
You'd be better off with something like:

Grow Peas | Guide to Growing Peas

No reason to put your url in there.

Certainly wouldn't put URL in there. Here's a helpful guide:

    Optimal Format

Primary Keyword - Secondary Keyword | Brand Name
    or
Brand Name | Primary Keyword and Secondary Keyword

    Best Practices

Less than 70 characters, as this is the limit Google displays in search results.

Yes thanks for pointing that out. Looks like I have a lot of work over the next few days changing all the pages to have meaningful titles.

Its not spammy at all, and i guess its good too! However i recommend you to add more keywords (Primary / Secondary) in order to get better results.

GrowingYourOwnVeg looks like a too long brand name for me. I know it's probably too late to change anything, but just my two cents.

When crafting titles, I usually try to cover more possible keyword combinations by smartly combining phrases versus repeating the same keyword twice.

Since I am not sure which major keywords you are targeting here (is it "Grow Peas" and "Growing Peas"?), I can't say for sure, but going back to your initial question, your title doesn't seem spammy at all
Everything will be ok in the end

If it's not ok, it's not the end

When i am going for crafting titles, i try to make meaningful and readable title which not contain repeatative keywords. You can put brand name at last in title so you can use maximum numbers of keywords in 59 characters.

You might possibly want to remove your URL from the title tag and include another keyword. So far you have used 65 characters so there would be plenty of space. That said, it's not spamming, reads well and looks great as it is.

You just need to remove your Website URL from title, use your website name . I will suggest use your target keywords in Title without repeating keywords .

Create a meaningful and user oriented Title. So Google can easily cache it and help you for better ranking.

Do not put website url in title tag.... instead put relevant keywords, that would get you better ranking...
