Are There Any SERP Checking Tools?

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a free tool available that will check what a websites SERP is for selected keywords. E.g, if I want to know what the SERP of my website for the keyword "garden designs" etc....

Ideally I would like one that can check multiple keywords at a time.

    Regards

Check out Searchenginegenie. It's not always completely accurate, but you can get a basic idea of your position on Google and Yahoo and then find your exact position in the serps. Hope this helps.

Give WebCEO a try but it gets quiet inacurate after the 3rd result page.

Try www.linkvendor.com/seo-tools/serps-position.html . But I still prefer the manual method...

My favoured one is Google. Seems to be fairly accurate as well.

I wish Google would number the results. That'd be EXTREMELY helpful andwould eliminate the need for SERP tools. Same with other search engines.

Haven't been there in a bit but DP's keyword tool is free. http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/

I use WEB CEO but if you just have one site the DP tool might be cool.

Checkout WebPosition.com by WebTrends, really a good software.

For all of these tools, be careful not to run too often, since this may penalize your domain. I run every 2-4 weeks, to keep low.

    Good luck

Interested in what people think of this tool and its features. We used this tool and showed the KEI for each term. We have a term that has a 3.9 KEI, 2,522 searches (not sure if its per month or per year), 1,670,000 competitors and 62% visibility yet, the term does not yield much traffic. Are we misunderstanding something or is there something wacky about the results?

    That makes a big difference.
Why do you wonder that you have only a few clicks if you dont even know if it is per year or per month?
