How to sensibly build seperate pages for very similar keywords?

    Hi to all
I am building a site on a very few select tools.
My keyword research shows the following:

    9 inch wrench....................searched 15 000 times last month
    wrench 9 inch ...................searched 12 000 " "
    9 inch wrenches.................searched 9 000 " "
    tradesman 9 inch wrench.....searched 10 000 " "

There are also a number of other keywords with less searches, which are very similar keywords, just slight variations, but still worth pursuing.
My question is, how do you go about making a page for one or two keywords at a time, especially if there are 50 very, very similar keywords, and it not seem ridiculous to have soooo many pages on basically the same thing.

I must be misinterpreting the info I am reading.
    Thanks to all

My approach would be to have one page - for 'nine inch wrenches'.

In this situation, always use the plural as in the majority of cases, you get a match on the singular aswell (although there are some anomolies). Use these words in your title element but don't repeat them as this is just a waste of the space available to you.

Google will still match your content for the searches 'wrench nine inch' and other variations of the same theme, so creating individual pages for each term is just complete overkill. For one, it would make your site structure and navigation overly complicated from a user point of view with multiple pages, for essentially the same item.

The key to improving the ranks then is to develop backlinks ensuring the anchor text of the links uses the variation of search phrases as you've listed. Make sure these keywords match up with the title element on the page. So a link for 'nine inch wrenches' and 'wrench nine inch' etc.
