Google update "Hummingbird" vs. Long Tail analysis

Google has recently made an update with 'Hummingbird' algorithm which actually makes emphasis on "answers" rather than results also useful for voice search (as an competitor for Apple's SIRI ) but what you think guys "would this update make any effect of Long tail Analysis and page ranking of websites" ??? Please make your opinions here
