Relative Paths cause problems?

Hi guys..

I have a site, it has supplemental pages, i have checked for all the possible reasons that cause the supplemental results..

1. no dup content
2. no canonical issues,
3. no similar meta desc/titles
4. backlinks to the pages and inner pages are there.. and so on..no mod rewrite done, etc.

I found out that some pages are orphaned, the ones i found are orphaned, are now connected from the homepage. But still some pages are supplemental, being connected from homepage, and no other issues as such found which can cause supplemental..

Except one i doubt..

The links are defined in the classes..

Please help me out, in case if this causes problems..i can change the hyperlinks to absolute paths..

while it's a good idea to have at least one url as absolute - it's not necessary to have all.

Of the pages that are supplemental what's on them... a substantial amount of content or minimal... (how many unique words compared to common words used in sitewide navs, copyright statement, tag lines, etc.?)

Just now, I mean Just 40 seconds before i found out that whilst checking backlinks typo happened and it showed backlinks of some other page.. :sad:

I got the reason although, The pages lack backlinks.. they are 3..on MSN and 6 yahoo, and have been cached a long time ago..

So i guess..90% of the reason seems to be lack of links..aahh my fault.. apology for that.. posted it.. without even checking deeply..i guess was more than just concious..

aahh yes.. the pages are full of content.. unique though.. how did i missed that...

As unfortunate as it is... even when wrong (or self-induced) - such developments in discussions provide insight...

You can be sure someone else will have the same problem and find this thread... OR start their own... and both you and I will know what to ask (did you check...!)

yea.. will remember that.. i always try to make a flashback to the points i learnt.. and often one or more are too fast to capture, hence, panic shoots in.. need to keep my cool.. and nice spots to take care of, to prevent Supplemental:



When everything else fails backlinks and the points you mentioned may be the casue to the fault.. Thanks again for those points..
