Is this worth Developing? ..and if so who should I go to?

Hello I would like to develop a web site to rival (URL address blocked: See forum rules)

i want a similar converter, forums, all the bells and whistles and features they have, plus a better design, and a marketing campaign and some seo to get up in the ranking and assure me some roi =] It is to be marketed under the domain (URL address blocked: See forum rules) (global currency) which imo is a very marketable name...when i first thought of it and googled it it turned up zero results, i wish i still had the screenshot!...now its already liek 200 something and i dont really even know how.. anyways i want to do something like (URL address blocked: See forum rules) check out their site for a almost exact but better times 2 example of what I am looking for...anyways with the name globency whats your opinion on the ability to market and make money off adds and other currency related services (down the road) on a site like this?

Thx,
Chris

How much money do you have? You have a germ of an idea that you want others to develop and do all of the work... Hmmmmmm..... such a deal. Where do I sign up?

First, register your domain (whatever the name is). Second, develop a business plan that details your business model along with financials. Third, buy FrontPage or Dreamweaver and take a stab at developing some pages. Fourth, if you lasted this long... learn SEO a bit. Fifth, if you are still in the game, redesgn your site and modify your expectations downward. Sixth, hopefully you start making some progress.

Bottomline: Nobody is going to do it for you unless they are paid above what they can make doing it for somebody else or themselves. Get to work... read... study... implement your plan.

lol well i just assumed that it was obvious...there is no budget i think the idea is worth 10+ grand and if that's what it takes its no skin off my back... lol...i own a web deign company and were doing more then well in the whole busy category of business, thus the reason I want to hire some1 else to do it as i virtually have no free time of my own, plus we stick more to basic web design and shopping cart systems...i would't know where to start getting into live currency information and what not...but hey good flame there buddy, the whlole pickup dreamweaver/front page joke and take a stab at a site..that was a good one...and i already do have the domain...duh.

Seventh, do what you know and understand. I know a little about forex, since the advent of the Euro... it is very difficult to make money in currency markets. I would develop your business plan first to see if it makes sense to invest your time and whatever amount it takes you to get on the air.

If you post too much of your idea here it will be like the artillery scout calling in fire on his own position.

I agree it is difficult to make money. But it a fun game to play. 24 hour a day markets. can get up at 2.00 in the morning and have a punt.

Ive learnt a lot by speculating in these markets. But i like playing with fire. keeps me young. lol..
