    How to get slideshow code into my website?

    I don't know how to make a slide show using code.
    My website code is
    <html>
    <head>
    </head>
    <body>
    <center>hello!
    </body>
    </html>

    How do I, step by step, get the slide show into the website?
    Thanks.

    I think the best option would be this

    P.S.: The code you've shown there is not valid HTML. You may want to fix that website Good luck

    The code you have displayed has a few features you may want to look into before proceeding to inserting a slideshow. Firstly, it does not showcase a complete HTML website code. It shows the basic skeleton needed before starting to get your website look like something. You have made a big mistake with the <center> tag as you have started it but you haven't closed it. In order to insert a slideshow, you could use jquery

    Add this much code between the <head> and </head> tag
    <!--
    var image1=new Image()
    image1.src="nemo.jpg"
    var image2=new Image()
    image2.src="up.jpg"
    var image3=new Image()
    image3.src="toystory.jpg"
    //-->
    </script>

    here in image.src give the URL of your image.

    then

    <img src="nemo.jpg" name="slide" width="618" height="246" />
    <script>
    <!--
    //variable that will increment through the images
    var step=1
    function slideit(){
    //if browser does not support the image object, exit.
    if (!document.images)
    return
    document.images.slide.src=eval("image"+step+".src" )
    if (step<3)
    step++
    else
    step=1
    //call function "slideit()" every 2.5 seconds
    setTimeout("slideit()",2500)
    }
    slideit()
    //-->
    </script>

    paste this code in the body tag where ever your want the slide show...

    Also in the above displayed code you haven't closed the <center> tag.
