file download prompt for html page
hello.
i don't know if this is the right place to post but i will try. what could possibly be wrong with an html page (with SSI's) if after uploading it onto my server host then i called the said page: the file download window pops up asking if i want to "open or save it in my computer" instead of just loading the page in the browser to be viewed as should be the normal case? there are no software programs or pdf files involved. it is a content html page. weird or am i missing something? is it my page or my host? i appreciate any response to shed light on this. thank you. best, gerardo |

The best way to tell would be if you could provide us with the URI of the page in question.
Without that, I have a couple of suggestions: 1. Does your host allow SSI? 2. What is your file actually called? 3. I assume that you can view it locally, just not when you upload it? |
