Alt tags on images
hi
i've been told in seo that i should put alt names on my images. how do i do this? eg. the current html on my site for a particular image is: <img border="0" src="fuelcard_index.jpg" width="350" height="238"> how do i do the alt thing on this? thanks craig |

Hi, in your example, notice the alt="alt text here"
<img border="0" src="fuelcard_index.jpg" width="350" height="238" alt="alt text here"> And yeah, it's a good idea, and good practice.

make sure the alt text is relevant to the image and page. Also please use a . after your alt text so that people who actually use text readers dont hear a huge string of crap.
Also not every single image needs it. you dont have to alt the images which add to the design, but the images within your content that are relevant to the site. Then alt them. |
