Your favourite Toolbar

As promised (and since everybody has been waiting for this)... Which one is your favourite toolbar (in Internet Explorer)????

Apart from PR indication, which makes no sense any longer, I'm personally still very fond of G TB because of the search word buttons. And I understand that the Ask-bar has a print-this-page-to-fit function, which I haven't tried but sounds very interesting.

On the donwside: some TBs leave stuff behind on uninstall (Y. and Alexa) which Spybot S&D doesn't like very much. Some can cause confusion when you try to switch them off...

Which one do you prefer? Talk me out of using G. please. Any new suggestions are welcome, but the poll only lists the ones I know of, of course

If you would use firefox, you wouldnt need any toolbar anymore.... toolbars are just to fill out the lacks of IE

I know berberber, I use FF especially for SEOChat ;), that's why I added the IE bit. But I can relate to your proposition to use Firefox more...

other than security improvements, what do you like best about FF over IE?

That's about it really. I don't oppose IE. My main site is better in IE so hey.

But: vote while you're here>>>

There are many differences :
-tabbed browsing
-ad blocking
-control of java script (for example you can do what you want with js windows)
-you can change theme easily
-text zoom for every page (not just on any as IE)
-integrated search tools (specially Google)
-download manager
-faster, easy to manage
-full suport of png pics
-respect W3 norms

just test it, you will adopt it

I use the google toolbar, for the search box, easy access to PR and backlinks for sites, and the pop-up blocker.

The Firefox thing aside (for it is all true and we know it)...

The sample is still quite small, but I'm already beginning to think we/you are all PR junkies here! Aren't there any people using a search engine toolbar for searching?

I can't believe it. We were all regular internet visitors once... weren't we?

Hmm, Wit, I use google toolbar for searching. Guess I'm an oddball. The pagerank thingy is useless now anyway.

Interesting to see all votes to google even with the pagerank issues.

I use the Google Toolbar but more and more I'm using Firefox too. What toolbars are currently available for Firefox?

P.S.: "other" includes "can't choose", "none", or even "hotbar" (???), just to clarify... I was really hoping for reasons to ditch the G-bar and install another.

But no... so I just upgraded to 2.0.114.1-big/nl
