White bar
I see a white bar on the toolbar for pagerank of a particular site. Tools such as seochat future page rank, show a grey bar.

Does google have a PR0 or do they not see the site at all

The short answer (from me) is I don't know... but:
Since the last toolbar update I haven't seen a grey bar for anybody... so I assumed that the white bar could be "either" nowadays...
As you probably know - the grey bar used to be the "banned" or "not yet ranked" signal - and I suspect that all of the future pr tools were made when that was common.

Unless the site is completely banned dont worry about it.

try to check the date of registration.. if its a fairly new domain .. then i think google hasn't seen the site yet..

the bar should be white in the toolbar no matter how new is the site. It only shows grey when the site is banned

nope.. if the site is banned then also it shows white bar.. there had been many incidents where banned site gets white bar .. rather than gray.

i just think that the gray bar funda is out from google..
