What Happened To Google Toolbar PR?
Maybe it's just me, but when I downloaded the new Google toolbar there was no option to add the PR box. Is Google phasing this out?

It seems like they have stopped updating this for ahwile and different versions of the toolbar (old versions with PR still enabled) show different PR on sites....any ideas what is going on? Thanks in advance...

The toolbar is fine here. SEO Chat is still indicating a PR7. My pages all look the same as far as PR.

The pagerank option is still there. You need to select Settings on the toolbar and then select Options from the drop-down box. The setting will be in there somewhere.

For some reason Google changed the toolbar on the most recent build to make the PR display button optional. On the upgrade you are asked if you want the PR option or not. If you say yes you are notified that Google will be monitoring this data and your search history to better customize your search experience... BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING!

That's really odd....I got the PR showing now in the new toolbar (it's really a buiried option now), but it is still showing my site as a PR5 (all other online tools are showing a PR6). Any ideas on what is going on here? Thanks in advance...

because the toolbar use a different data center IP

you should start using firefox and a page rank extension.

Same here - everything works fine, but you must manually activate the PR display button.

Try to update google toolbar or re-install it one more time. I had the same problem but when I re-installed that toolbar it is working perfect ;)

firefox with the quirk seo addon is much better and less intrusive than the toolbar
