Two simple but annoying questions I need help with.

Hi Guys, hope this section is appropriate, i need assistance with two things.

First, hard disk crash so did reformat and now my google search bar, i search on "widgets". I use to check button for search Australia only, but now is says search UK. How do i change this?.

Second. GA shows NOT VERIFIED. I was verified but it said server timed out 29th March. I have since been crawled at least 3 times, but still 29th March timed out so not verified. Will this fix itself when google crawls or do i need to fix it. Site hasnt changed, no coding or templates have been touched so tracking code must still be in place.

Need advice in very simple terms as im a true beginner and basic skills.

You need to configure your Google search to anything you want, a reformat on your disk must have brought anything to default.

Also for your Google analytics , try inserting again the tracking code then verify again. It should solve the problem or else other factors are involved.

Thanks for the hint. I reuploaded the google analytics stuff, just the damn search Aust to fix now.

I think you should check your computer's Regional Options setting on the control panel to Australia. Hope this helps.
