Toolbar greyed out for all sites ??
I have checked with 3 different machines with different ips all sites PRs are greyed out including google.com. Has anyone seeing this recently?

If that's the case g is totally messed up with stupid BD updates. Look after your PR where there is revenue and everything...

Maybe Google banned itself.

I am seeing the same on about 80% of the sites. Ours is still showing a PR6.

Don`t worry about it
If i remember right, this happened at last update and we even had the grey bar for 2 days twice.
People were saying pr was finished last time so i really wouldnt worry about it this time.
If it really is bothering you,
uninstall the toolbar

Toolbar PR doesn't really matter. Are you still coming up in SERPs? That's what matters.

My toolbar went grey when i uninstalled it.
Rock on and delete the piece of crap and you will feel a lot better about google.

lol - I agree (although I haven't uninstalled mine... I've just grown accustomed to taking PR with a pinch of salt)

Honestly, I wish they would grey it out permanently; it would encourage relevant links and discourage "PR" links...

Google is responsible for massive amounts of "PR based interlinking" and is now fighting to improve it's own algo's in order to try to "fix" the situation... duh!
