regaining Googles address bar
Hi All,
You'll tell I'm a newbie by asking this one, BUT: I've lost Google's address bar on my search page and cannot regain it. This is the one below the toolbar w/back button stop icon, refresh icon etc. My browser was recently hi-jacked and somehow this happened. By the way I use Windows XP Pro. I did go VIEW>TOOLBARS & tried from there but nothing. Any suggestions? Dan |

Re: Missing Address Bar
Hi,
I faced the similar problem. For a while I also thought that the address bar has disappeared after intalling Google toolbar. But that is not the case. If you look on the top, where the address bar is usually present, somewhere in that place you will find the word "Address" written, it might be in light colors (inactive). Just click on that and your address bar should open. If it doesnt open then go to VIEW->TOOLBARS-> uncheck LOCK THE TOOLBARS. Once this is unlocked, then try to click on "Address", and it should open up. Let me know if that worked for you. Have a nice weekend. Thanks Balaji |
