Query looks similar to automated requests

Recently I've been getting this message.

"but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can’t process your request right ..." you have to type in an encrypted code.

I checked the settings>options to no avail, unless I missed something. Is there a way to prevent this message.

Thanx,
Tom

I get it occassionally when manually checking keyword rank - it must be Google's method of preventing automated checking. Seems I must be very robotic about it!
