PR not displayed

Has any one noticed that the PR is not been displayed and its showing grey instead of green. But the site was crawled few days ago.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

No one can give you a suggestion, but only explanations

This is happening because since the recent PR update, there are some connectivity issues going on among the google datacenters for which the toolbar is not being able to establish a connection with the Google datacenters for retrieving the PR of the page.

This is mainly happening in the case of low pr pages only (as far as I have seen)

That's the reason why the Google toolbar is giving no PR info for pages that have low pr .

Just a temporary glitch and hopefully will be solved soon.

For ex - Look at the PR bar for this thread. Its also showing grey. So nothing to be worried about

In Google toolbar page rank, grey PR means that a site/page has not yet been indexed or non-indexed pages.

I have a theory with the google toolbar.

I think that it isnt out of 10 but a percentage, so your page rank isnt 4 its 40%

And it is simplified down for users to quickly see what pagerank they are.

If there really are 200 points that google watches over your site then it must be a percentage. Since i have thought like this it has let me think in a much wider view about the seo that i do to my sites.

Google toolbar works wonderful

I thought that ad Block facility is best in that and also by doing this it secures us from the some insecure items.

the best feature that needs to be added to the google toolbar is a note. in cases like a page rank drop i would like to know why i got a page rank zero rather than being left clueless. and i know google's algo aint perfect

Google PR toolbar is very bad indicator for real PR of page since google update it. I notice that in the last month pr tool are more reliable that toolbar...

But - if this information was displayed on the toolbar, it would be available to everyone!
If they were to give out such info', GWT would be a better place.

it's (fairly) common knowledge that the PR displayed on the toolbar is out of date (a snapshot of the past) but you can't argue that anybody else's PR tool is "more accurate" because PR is allocated BY google...
What other tools "think" your PR should be is immaterial.
