No backward links, why?

Looking for some advice on why our site has zero backward links on the google toolbar, but has 10 recognised links in webmaster tools? Our site is duinteriors.co.uk In last year we have gone from page rank 3 to 1 and can't get why? Any help much appreciated, thanks!

Goolge doesn't always give accurate information on backlinks. You could do with more though, so read the stickies on this site to help you with that.

As a suggestion, tidy up your website code, there are loads of errors. and this year is 2009, the footer copyright is 2008.

Have you tried backlinkwatch.com to see your back links there. Google is more strict in considering back links thus giving you less numbers.

As what they say, google doesn't show all your backlinks especially if your site is newly launched. Try it check it in yahoo.

The best way to check Google Backlinks is Google Webmasters tools, It shows all the backlinlks cached by Google.

Just to clear this up... The site age is immaterial and this isn't an error...
Google backlinks reports a random sample of your backlinks.
It's been this way for years now. Going back about 5 years they used to only list backlinks from PR3+ pages, then they removed the PR requirement and changed to a completely random sample. Their best explanation being that it stops competitors from reverse-engineering your rankings/their algo's!

Whatever the reason just ignore the backlinks reported in Google and use either GWT (note - this method also reports "nofollow" backlinks) or - better still - use Yahoo for backlinks info' - it seems to be the most comprehensive.
