Google toolbar slowing my computer

I tried to install new version twice. Both times I had much problems like, it slows down computer or IE7 freezes. Takes minutes to close the browser etc etc...

Anybody has same problem? I am on Windows XP, Home with IE7.

luckily i got the same specification just like you but no problem happen until now. Maybe you should try old version and if the problem still happen, maybe you should reinstall back your browser.

I tried to block googleupdater.exe by Norton Firewall, still automatic update updating tool bar

Wow your lucky! IE usually crashes without toolbars.
IE is terrible with toolbars, come to think of it IE is a terrible browser. Use FF. Hardly ever crashes and when it does it saves everything even forms filled out and brings it all back up when you open FF again. I also have one of the best computers on the market and IE still crashes so it must be IEs fault
