Google Toolbar error in Outlook....

Hello!!

Sorry if this has been asked or posted elsewhere.

I had installed Google Toolbar and then uninstalled it and deleted all Google folders, files, etc. There are a couple I can't delete.

When I start Outlook I get this error message:

"The add-in "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Desktop Search\GoogleDesktopO..." could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu. Unable to load "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Desktop S...". You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file."

I have tried Detect and Repair. Same error message.

Help, please???
Thank you!!

You deleted the folder that contains the file where your toolbar files was saved. Try to reinstall it.

You might try this link

http://absoblogginlutely.net/mtblogarchive/004903.php

you have to edit your registry to remove it completely.

But you must be careful on editing registry especially if you are not an expert or else other program might not functioning well.

try reinstalling the toolbar in another directory. or you can try safe mode to delete the remaing or the read only file that the google tool bar have.

This may help directly from Google.

This link may help as well on the experts exchange but you'll need to register for the trial.

Good luck.
