Is anyone else having problems with the google toolbar? I have 2 computers with the PR greyed out.

Yesterday (my time) it seemed to go in and out. I could usually get it to come on by either refreshing the page, or going into the website and then clicking on a link to take me back to the front page.

However, now, it's all gone.

Scratch "search for link partners" off my list of things to do today.:-?

what's so good about google not showing PR to us hardworking people yet still using it to calculate positions Mr.evil? aren't you on the same boat? Don't you realize that now when you get a request for link exchange you'll have to figure out the link value by checking the other site's backlinks and even worse, its keywords and their positions? Google's trying to work everyone here like dogs. Now does that mean people here will give up? I don't think so. Google just threw an extra rock on our journey to the treasure island...an you mr.evil you are happy about that?

It's interesting to see how PR value has become so dominating when doing basic SEO/SEM.

I've been doing serious link hunting all day and find it very pleasing that PR value is not visible. Most SEO's/webmasters I've been in contact have put weight on actual content - not "my site is PR7, you have only PR5".

I have just contacted three peeps, and none of them are seeing PR either so why the hell am I still seeing PR when noone else is?

I have cleared cache and history yet still there?

I reckon I must have a special toolbar I dont suppose this is that important but i would like to know just out of curiosity
