Of course, I use it. Otherwise how can I check if there is a PR update or not so I can go to PageRank forum and open a new PR update thread in every glitch

.

Why even have the toolbar feature then, I like to enable all features on any browser that I am using. I like to see how my site looks in different browsers when I add or change my css.

If Google doesn't like people looking at thier own sites then why even have the featyre in the first place. Not many people browsing the web even know what it is or means.

What type of info could it be sending? Is it (or could it be) harmful to our SERPs?

Yep I love people looking in the bathroom window when I am taking a bath, do you, of course that may not always be the case ... right?

I learnt from Brad Fallon & Andy Jenkins in their "Stomping The Search Engines" course that, tho they themselves use & recommend the G Toolbar, what the Toolbar allows Google to do is monitor and record ALL your movements on the web. FOREVER. That they keep information about you Forever. And apparently if you read their agreement closely (as if any real human could do that) you will see that they tell you so and that they can use it according to their discretion. I don't have it tho I am tempted .. coz that is just so Big Brother isn't it?

Hello AzharH,

I have to agree. Using the google toolbar does have an effect on your search ranking when used properly. Making sure to use the search bar daily will make a difference.

I use the toolbar. I don't see any reason not to. If Google didn't want you using it they wouldn't let you download it. And I really don't care what information Google looks at as I don't have anything to hide. I goto my site less than some other sites on the web so their rankings should drop? I don't really think it effects rankings that much. I do believe Google personalizes your searches by what you do on the web.

With the google toolbar its easy to send a search on google without havinng to type google.com, youve the pageranks of sites, and you can fill some contact forms automaticaly if you set all your informations in google toolbar firstl! SOmetimes you cannot add them because the forms uses another attribute but sometimes its damn fast! YAY

I use it on all machines. Others can disagree but I feel that the PR of a page is useful info.
