Directory results not showing when using toolbar?

Hi everyone,

Just noticed that if I perform a search using my toolbar that the results being returned don't show the google directory results under the description. Today is the first time I am seeing this but it still seems the same if I just use www.google.com to search.... anyone else noticed this before?

They show for me... Does your URL end up being the same in your browser when you do the search the two different ways? If not, what's the difference between it?

Yes, it is very strange. Been doing some more testing and I think it might have to do with the whole geographical results distorting thing which seems to be the case nowadays.

I am in the Netherlands. Type in www.google.com and get redirected to www.google.nl. That is not so strange as this has always happened. If I perform a search in www.google.nl, it shows full directory listing etc.

If I click on "go to google.com in english" (which redirects via www.google.com/ncr to www.google.com) and I do the exact same search there, it doesn't show any of the directory results under the description. So, this is giving me the exact same results as my toolbar.

Something is definitely going on...just wondering if it is a global thing or not
