Hi friends,
I want to know the difference between the color which I see in google toolbar, in some sites it shows gray color and in some it show white. But in both cases sites are indexed by google and there is no problem in crawling also. |

This is because google toolbar is a history. This is not the actual page rank that is used to rank the webpages. It shows grey because the moment that page is created, the page rank update is already complete. Try waiting for the next page rank update then it will change either zero (white) or 1 and above.(maybe next month) Hope this helps. |

Pages that don't have any incoming links, are new, or are in Supplemental (or any combination of the three) are showing a graybar now.
Sites that Google deems 'unworthy' may also show a grey toolbar. A grey toolbar may also be a site that has been penalised like a directory or a link farm, but these typically rank for their homepage, but not for their internal pages. A genuine site that is penalised (for whatever reason) may be deindexed and grey-barred if Google sees something it doesn't like. You can submit a Q through Webmaster Central or try a Google Group and MAYBE find out why. If you find out and change the issue, you will get your PR back on your homepage but no internal pages until the next PR update. I think this is Google's 'probationary' period to make sure the content doesn't return. GaryTheScubaGuy
