Apple Mac toolbar

Anyone fancy writing an Apple Mac toolbar? - I feel like the ugly girl at the (google) dance!

Maybe I'll have to give in and buy a PC .......... NO!! - can anyone tell me who to harass at Google to request one?

why do you need the toolbar? there are ways to do everything the toolbar does through other means.

I wish the google bar wasn't just limited to IE only. It's THE only reason I keep IE around. yes, it's sad.

I want a Mac toolbar too. Unfortunately, I don't think any of the Mac browsers have an API for 3rd party toolbars.

What would be cool is a floating window that showed the PageRank of the page you were on. Or better yet, throw it into the system toolbar up top (by the time).

I bet it's possible to make an external hack that gets the PageRank, then alters your browser icon on the dock (like overlay a number onto the icon). That would be cool.

couldn't google just have an option to make ur start page www.google.com/macframe.html and then have a litte frame at the top that looks like the google toolbar and has all it's features... like search and PR I assume they could do farely easily. Well... I still say buy a PC... its not like you couldnt have bought 4 of them for the price of a mac.

Safari is pretty much as close as it comes to a toolbar with the google search up the top. I've tried adding the request on Mac boards for it to be added to Safari, but I doubt there will be much luck from there or from Google for that matter. If you ask me, Google would be wiser to get rid of the PR display entirely.

I checked out the tools though; funnily enough google itself came up as a 9 for the webrankinfo one :-D. The xrenoder script seems more reliable.

Now if only coldfusion were available on the Mac :-?
