YouTube PR down 8 to 3 and Now 3 to 8
Hi,
At the time of PR update i found that Google has decreased the PR of YouTube from 8 to 3. I also check that in different datacenters at that time i found that YouTube has a PR 3.
But now today i checked YouTube PR in different datacenters then i found that in some datacentes YouTube showing PR 8 and in some datacenters YouTube showing PR 3.
Why Google did that after the decresing PR of YouTube it increased again.
Anyone noticed that their website PR decreased and then increase.

This was an automatic update which means youtube(googles own site) would be also hurt by the changes. This could be a fluke or it could be google manually re-positioning their PR to 8 on youtube... if it is the latter it is a dirty deed

PR is totally depend on back links and your back link power is poor.

Ahh who cares... thats google's assest now, they can strip off its PR, they can make it a PR-10.. hardly matters..
The update was actually automatic, based on some very peculiar factors like having links in the footer, links in the side navigation specially towards the right, and that too either redirected to the inner page of the same site, or prolly java script links, Youtube fell prey of google's own trap.
But since its their own site, everyone had predicted and posted here on SEOchat forums even, that they will re-inculcate the PR for youtube. and here it is..
Theres nothing we do can do about it.. except discussing.. which is on..So go on..
