Do mailto links affect on PR flow? After all they are anchor elements (like bookmarks)....

Any experience, opinion and knowledge etc. is more than welcome.

Google ignores mailto:, ra:, irc:, etc. links because they point to realms they can't spider easily. (I don't know about ftp:, gopher:, etc., since theoreticly they could contain hypertext documents)

I have seen some other bots stupid enough to attempt to spider them, though. I'll get things in my logs like: GET /some/directory/mailto:a@b.com

I wonder if Google gives any extra credit to pages that have a mailto link? I remember seeing some webmaster@nigritude-ultramarine-xx.com milto links.

Anybody test this? Would be an interesting test IMO.
