that PR thing again
I have a website with a PR of 6. We recently added some new pages - all easily accesable from the menu on home page. These pages "alone" show no PR. All other pages on site show a pr of 3 or above not PR0. In the past when adding new pages they emediately had some PR - abiet less han the index.htm page. This has not happened in the past.
Another of our sites with PR of 5 had some new content added this week - they are already showing PR of 4 so I'm totally confused that the other sites new pages show PR0 despite all other pages having a PR of more than PRO. Perhaps I'm missing something? For the record the newly added pages all link with the home page and indeed all other pages on the site. Should i be concerned? Also while I'm at it - the site did have a PR6 late last year but then went back to PR5 - but this week its gone back again to PR6. Not complaining - very pleased. |

Don't be concerned - new pages will only have "real" PR once they are spidered by the deep-crawling Googlebot and a Google dance has happened. Both conditions need to occur for PR to be calculated properly.
