Still, lost PR that hasn't returned!?

Hi Guys,

Well right after the recent PR update, I went from pr 4 to pr 5 but shortly after, disappeared from Google's index and lost all PR. Its been about a week since its happend, and I still haven't recovered any form of PR.

Does anyone have any idea why I've lost PR? My backlinks seem credible and they still carry PR, but not to me!

Site is www.yourimagehost.com

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Looks to be working fine now, maybe it was a hiccup on the server. Any advice?

Cool Ban?

It looks like you were kicked out or banned. I don't see any obvious reason why that would be the case. But, in the interim, while you are regaining your position, you should consider purchasing sponsored links.

Regards,

Agalychnis

Two things I noticed:

1- All your links seem to carry session IDs, example: http://www.yourimagehost.com/index....00d468685aef658

Get rid of seesion IDs in the URLs.

2- This one may not be the reason but who knows
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow">
should be <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> and make sure you are not banning search engines from indexing your site in your robot.txt file

Google and most search engines find it a problem indexing long un-friendly URLs and your links are all unfriendly because of session IDs.

Put the line of code bellow (instructs PHP not to use them) into a blank wordpad file and name it .htaccess, upload that file into the root directory, that should get rid of them:

php_flag session.use_trans_sid Off

If you already have a .htaccess file, just add that statement on top!

Let us know how did it go, if you got rid of them that is, if you did, wait up to 4-5 weeks for PR to come back!

My problem has been going on for 8 months.

Google STILL refuses to cache my site, display baclinks & PR, or rank me anywhere in the SERPS.

Heck, theres other sites with an email address on their subpage such as mysite@ whatever.com
showing higher in the serps when i do a search of "mysite.com" or "mysite"

I have put the link up before for everyone to have a look at.
PK_Synths, Hexed and a few others gave me some good tips.

Problem is if i post the URL, this thread will appear higher then my site in
about 48 hours.

I'm getting a stack of hits from G and some pretty big crawls, so fingers crossed
the PR bar will move from white next update. Yes it's been white since Oct 03.

If you want the URL to have a peek, let me know and i will PM it to you.
