Serps

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how does google reranks the serps for a determined word or words?

There is a great tool from http://www.digitalpoint.com/ that tells the position in which any site appears for any chosen word.

Yesterday I searched my poistion for a word and today I did the same. The position changed from 27 to 30 in 2 days. Does this mean that I can get back links with the anchor text to overpass my nearest cometition and it will take effect inmidiately? or do I have to wait one month for google to find those links?

Thanks!

Tell you what I changed my keywords for the title and meta tag. I rank better now in Google. But it takes days sometimes to take effect.

Yes, it takes place on a daily basis. Sure, I also use digitalpoint to check my ranking on every possible keyword. You can refresh at digitalpoint everyday to see your new position in Google listings.
