Selling Advertisement Text Links (PR)

1)Does anyone know what google would do if someone were to place
lets say 6-10 text links 'Sponsors' on a site wide scale (1,000-100,000 pages) ?
Would they stop pagerank from passing through that site ? or What might happen?
Let's say the site is a PR7 index and PR6 2nd level pages and all the rest PR5's.
Has anyone done this? if so what were the consecuences if any ?

2) Is it alright to link one of your sites to another (a one way link, no link back) of your sites to receive the
PR ? Also this would be done on a site wide scale of 1,000-100,000 pages. Reason I ask is because I'm developing a site
and my other site is somewhat related to it, so instead of making the same section over again, I'd just be linking
to my other site? or should I just make the section again (users might not like being brought to another site right) ?

I think you are fine, just don't sell too many, otherwise you could be considered to be the next linkfarm

Go ahead and link to the other site - it benefits your visitors, and PR will be passed to the page you link to. Be sure to use important keywords in the link text.

I've got several sites with the same theme and they all link to each other. They all benefit and show as backlinks.

Look at the top bar of this forum... all of the DevShed property homepage links are there... I have been on lots of pages of these sites and see the same linkage.

PR8 too. All the sites interlinked. I'm going to name mine
'Fontestad Shopping Network' or if anyone can come up
with a better name that would be cool. I do like the idea though

I'm currently battling someone that has done something similar to get to the top. They have taken out an Advertisement on a major site in this field, and they basically have 250 backlinks to their site from this one site and that's it. Put's them at the top of almost every search.

Guess who is buying advertising on this site now? =)

This site has about 6 buttons on the right of every page that links to paid advertisers, so if you were to do the same thing, It will be all good for you.

Not to be nosey. but how much are they asking ? My site would provide well over 2,000 backlinks with a range from PR7-4 (not right now, but when I do plan on selling advertisement is when I reach a homepage PR7, so I'm still quite some time away from that.) how much do you think would be a good price to charge ? I'm only going to have 12 small text link spaces. here's an example of how the text links would be: http://thebookshop.us/sle.htm
That would be on everysingle page of the site. I'm looking for estimates on how much that would be worth given homepage PR7 lots of PR6's lots of PR5's and tons of PR4's.
Also how much if the PR of the homepage would go up to 8 and the rest of the pages go up a PR point ? Please let me know... I have TONS of questions about this.
