Selling A Page Rank 10 Domain
I was just curious about how much do you seo peeps think a PR10 domain would sell for, and
how much do you think people would pay for links from a PR10 website? ![]() |

Hi it, is a pretty silly question. Microsoft.com Google.com WhiteHouse.org are typical PR10 websites you could not buy these websites for any sane amount of money.
There are very few PR10 websites in the world. If you would like a link on a PR9 website e.g. slashdot.com talk to these people: http://www.ostg.com/advertising/

No its not a silly question, I am very aware of what sites currently have a PR10, and the question was not answered, I asked what anybody thought the price of a domain with a pr10 and the price of a link from a pr10 site. I did not ask where I can buy a pr9 link, because that had nothing to do with my orig question. ohh amd by the way it would be www.whitehouse.gov that has the pr10.... |

Go and ask your dumb questions somewhere else if you don't like the answers then.

Ok first of all you are from mexico so your responses are pretty much irrelevant to me! But I am going to respond to this one for my own personal ammusement. I have a couple questions for you: 1.) Can you tell me what exactly was dumb with my question? 2.) Are the forum Admin? And if not who the hell are you to tell me to ask my stupid questions elsewhere? 3.) Do you have a website with a high page rank? If yes what is it? If not what the hell are you doing in a Google Page Rank Forum? |

Now, all this is just guessing without knowing what site you exactly are talking about, is the link you are selling on the home page with PR10 or some other page with PR9,8,7,6, how many links are on the page, how much traffic the site gets, etc ... Quote:

hmmm kind of like asking how much the White House would sell for, because it's not likely to be on the market any time soon. seems irrelevant, but there's nothing against that. btw, how much is the moon worth?

It is invaluable to be honest. I'd say in upwards of 50 million dollars. The problem is that Google can kill that in one small swoop. But if not, imagine the dominance you could have on the web.

Why certainly, there's too many variables that would go towards determining the sites worth which you did not specify. Aka, a single page PR10 website generating no income would be worth far less then a 1 million page site turning over billions in sales, similar to Microsoft.com Understand yet? |

Hey guys... I don't know here but, what about this guy did not saw his question as being unanswerable. Ok, he has a bit of an attitude, but how would you like to be told you ask silly questions on your 1st post. Lets not make this a bashing thread. Until you know something, does it mean you're an idiot for not knowing? If yes, there are lots of idiots here, and I must be one of them.
seo-boii, your question cannot really be answered. The thing is that if you answer to dudes here with attitude, you'll get the same, arrogance attract arrogance, insults attract insults... and this is how you endup with flamming thread. So if you felt insulted by sorvoja, get over it, the dude knows his stuff and i'd pay attention to his comments. People here are sharing their knowledge for free. If you ask a question, you'll usually get an answer. The answer will not always be to your likings, but be greatfull someone took some of his time to answer you. As for your question, I'd say it is worth nothing. The only way you could aquire a PR10 is if you bought the company that owns the site... so the question would be, how much for microsoft. Never saw a PR10 link for sale, chances are you will not find one. Just my opinion here... |

And they sell links !!!! |

not a stupid question...
seo-boii,
I like your ambition! While it might be rather difficult to acquire a PR 10 backlink, I like your forward thinking. You may want to reconsider you stance on PR 9s. Those a relatively easy to find, and if you have money, they cost anywhere from $1,000- 5,000/month. Don't let anyone call you stupid either. Ask whatever questions you want. Everybody was a newbie once.

No offense Jocelyn but I am far from a newbie, but really if you want to get technical besides the basics of seo almost everybody is a newboe everytime a search engine does an update. And why is that almost everybody seems to think achieving a pr10 is soooo impossible, and my question is similar to asking how much the moon is worth? Also I never got butthurt over the responses i got nor did i really care at all, it was a simple question and you guys act like a asked for your blood or right arm or something!

A PR10 is impossible unless you have a site that everyone is linking to. You won't get it by just going out and getting links. And another thing, why is everyone so hung up on PR these days? This isn't 2 years ago.
