PR2 to PR3
The following scenario, I have two websites one marketplace and one store. the whole marketing is targeted towards the marketplace which links to the store, which is a value added service.
After quite some optimization I made it to PR3 with the marketplace, and now the store was crawled. For whatever reason this one is already PR2 without doing anything! I am confused. How much more effort will be to take the marketplace up to 4 or 5 ? I am ab it confused about the ranking.

To get a PR4 you don't need much. I've seen PR4 sites with 15 backlinks.
After that, it gets harder and harder... a PR5 takes time... PR6, much more effort, and so on

if you submit to every free directory out there, you should have a PR4 easily in a few months.
if you want to get higher than that, make a links page and go out asking for recip links.

Just it takes time.. One month is usual to get PR4 if you are having backlinks from few good PR websites.. but PR5 and greater is lil hard to get..So enjoy and keep working...
Man rather on PR .. work on your keywords. that is better. .
