Question PR0 for new pages?

I've recently uploaded new pages to our exisiting site. The site has PR5, yet the new pages are showing white bars. I've just read in one of the articles here that that means PR0 - how can they be banned or 'old but not linked to for 3 months' when they are brand new?

Or are these pages simply awaiting the dance??

Thanks!

This often happens and doesn't mean they are banned, penalised or anything like that. Simply that they haven't been spidered and indexed yet. Don't worry, if they are linked to from pages already indexed, they'll be spidered soon and put in the index. You may have to wait a little longer for the PR value to show, but you can really forget about that anyway - the important thing is where you're positioned in the SERPs.

Change Response for Results. Some people also prefer to say Search Engine Result Position, but I like the Page(s) version better.
