has there been a major page rank update as my sites page rank has gone down (from 5 to 4) and the home page now has the same page rank as the rest of the site.

same here. It show same PR on my main to sub. Still unclear for me me with this kind of PR updates done by Google.

Yes, alas now we are at a big fat zero.. I don't understand why, we are a completely ethical site and our major keywords gone from been out of the top 1000, 600, 200 and to as of today # 127.

I am not too worried about PR, but getting links is going to be a lot harder as many wont link to a low PR site it seems.

It seems that google is now changing their strategy. Well, I think there is no big effect on our site if the PR is monthly updated. The important is the ranking of our keywords.

It was an updated very fast without real change in the classification.

But Google is currently reviewing its PR and requires a lot more links pointing to no sites for the same PR that a few times.
