I feel like this is an incredibly stupid question; but...
I have a page I just made and google indexed it a few weeks later. It appears at #4 in google right now (PR 0). When google updates PR and it gets (lets say 2 or a 3) should I expect a rise in rankings because of that and that alone? Since I'm noticing google index some pages quicker now, I'm not sure if the PR is behind the flow and updates later or the toolbar is behind and PR has already been assigned to the page. |

Nope... this is done on the fly. You may notice a change if you have a lot of new links on low PR pages that do not get refreshed often. |

don't wait on Google, start collecting backlinks to your site. this should bump you up a bit in the near future. besides, some people think the PR update is coming soon anyway...:-D you might go to pr4.

Well, its just an internal page, my main page is a PR5, so I expect it to go to a PR 3 at least, but I was curious in what order things happened. Ranking then PR or PR then ranking.
