I've noticed that some of our new sites now have PR...has anyone else seen this? Maybe the dance is beginning?

I just ran the check on Darrins other site. It says that the dance isnt starting yet. You can check yourself @ http://www.google-dance.com. Just click on "Q-Check" Which used to be quick check... Well then you check the # of links to yahoo, and when the 3 numbers are different, the dance has begun! They are all at 642,000

I'm at the pre-party
I'm noticing the exact same thing on my websites. One minute they're PageRanked 0, the next they're ranked 9, the next they're ranked 6. The PageRank on them is continuing to move around. This may be a pre-dance for PageRank.

Ahhhhhhhhh..

There may be some confusion in this thread about the terms "Rank" and "PageRank"...

Rank = The position at which your website is listed for a given search on Google or any other search engine.

PageRank = The integer number between 1 and 10 which denotes the value of your website accorinding to Google.

If you see Ranks changing then there is nothing odd going on, if yo are seeing PageRanks changing, then that's a different issue. Ranks change almost daily whilst PageRanks are updated on a monthly basis.

On my sites it is the PageRank that is changing, not the regular listing.

Oh yeah, and I did get a screenshot...how could I pass it up?

Darrin...if thats the case - PR changes - then something is definitely moving. Have you seen this in the past? If so, how long after PR movements, does the actual updating/Dance occur?

im seeing some funny page rank stuff happening today i clicked on my site this morning and the page rank was like 7 and was like yeah i like that only to see it drop back down a few clicks later Also this forum is the highest i have seen it since i have been lurking which has been about a week,its showing a 9 right now while im typing,But its strange because i see it sometimes with 0 or 6,so i think there messing with something.That green sure looks good though

Please post a link to the screen shot , Id def like to see it. I wish i had a page rank of 9, just for a second. Thats one of those moments you'll never forget... Unless you had a pagerank fo 10 already

Press "print screen" button on your board. Top right corner if it's like mine... Then open any graphic editor, open a new document and press Ctrl-V to paste it. Save and insert the image into a post..

im running windows 98 i don't see any way of doing it,sorry,its sitting on the a in rank,so its staying about around the same area
