Yes, this white/greyness is getting old fast. Especially for people like me with new sites who get about as much traffic as a narrow urethra.

you find (with some sites) that if they have a grey pr bar, you can go to google and search for that domain.., if you find it, click on the link, and sometimes the pr has re-appeared...,
I've noticed this many times, has anyone else? |

I have a new site and my toolbar goes sometimes grey, sometimes white, it changes all the time. Guess it will all end up well after the dance is completed.

As long as the PR appears somewhere, its all good.

hi jim I saw this today for my site and followed your advise and yes it worked!
The daft thing is my link pages are showing pr 0 so i'm unable to ask for links , I had a rejection today because of this so I need to put this links campain on the back burner for now. If this silly pr continues for good quality links pages then it all seems very silly from google ranking point of view after all arnt google pages full of links so can we see page rank zero for them as well? |

How come your links pages are showing PR0 maluk? do you get a PR when you try and access your links page directly through google? .., or is your links page not directly accessible from your home page or site map page? generally if your home page has a PR, so should the rest of the site, albeit a lower one. am i missing something? |

I don't think anything is wrong with his site. I also have a site that once had a PR5 home page and PR4 pages linking off it. Now the home page is PR4, and the other pages are almost all white bars. I'm guessing it's a block rank thing that is still in the works.

I would not be worried about Pagerank right now. I had the same thing happen for over a month and now I got my PR back. Still even now if I am a machine besides my normal workstation my PR will come up
as zero sometimes. Google is toast. |

In future, when trying to exchange links it may be a good idea to point people to this forum so they can see that having a pr0 links page isn't all that bad..., as long as the home page is showing a healthy pr of course It may help in this current time anyway.., if you dont want to direct people here, keep a note of the url and contact them when all the google madness has settled down (if it ever does) |

I've found that to see the PR when the PR is "white" I can take these steps:
1. pull up the backward links from PageInfo on the toolbar 2. then back arrow to return to the page I'm investigating voila ... it now shows the PR. |
