Question Number 1 to 'NOT RANKED' overnight?

Hi,
My website: http://www.elogicmedia.com.au was ranking number 1
on the google australian site when doing a search for: elogic media.

About a week ago now, it seems my whole site has been dropped from
google (well the .com.au anyway)

Funny thing is, my domain: http://www.elogicmedia.com is still
in the google listings, even though they are both the same website.

Does anyone know why this might happen. The com.au be dropped but
the com stay?

Thanks
ELM

your au page is still in google's cache

http://64.233.161.104/search?source...media.com.au%2F

it generally is not the goal of a search engine to list the same site twice. if they are the exact same eventually one will be filtered out of search results for duplicate content

You are showing a pr2 with 0 bl's on the toolbar and only one bl on a www.your-domain.com G search here. That being the case, you will disappear from the G serps overnight. What was your pr and how many bl's did you have prior to this occurence?

read google's guidelines
http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html

Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.

Yes this is fair enough but my problem is, I don't want to use the com domain as much as I use the com.au
domain.
Is there a way to cancel out the com domain and have the com.au domain instead in the cache?

Thanks

bl refers to backlinks. i can't find any reference to "b" so i can't tell you what that is. if you're talking about G, that is just short for Google. basically, backlinks refers to how many sites link to yours. to check this, you would go to google and search for "link:www.elogicmedia.com.au"

OK cool, thanks. I got ya now.

Not to worry, backlinks will be coming soon. Have only had the site
for a little while and will be adding clients with my link as soon as
they come in.

What about a 301 Redirect from .com domain to .com.au domain?

Yeah I think it does mean parking is a problem, within a few weeks it sort of fixed it self and the .com.au come through and the .com disapeared... still seems to be a problem though....
