not ranked, did I violate something?

Hi,

I have 2 domains that are the same site, the 2nd domain has the same front page as the 1st domain, but all links point to the 1st domain so the 2nd domain is basically the same thing.

DId I violate something?

The main domain is ipaq.net, while the second domain is ipaq.org (I bought the .org first, then got hold of the .net so I use the .net now).

I have not been ranked with google yet, just curious if I broke some sort of rule and hence I am being ignored?

Mirror site proves to be the biggest mistake one can ever make for site submission to big search engine. Once the crawler finds similar sites, it bans both. Well, this is what I understand so far.

Of course, you can do so as long as there are no pages similar to each other. In fact, I myself also made a blunder submitting my subpages to various search engines. Luckily, those are new pages and didn't cause any penalties. Many sites got booted because of trying to spam for a better rankings by constant submitting.

ok so lets assume the site is banned, what's the solution? Or is this a permanent status for the domain...

I personally think nothing is permanent as far as a domain is concerned. After all, a site indexed or its page rank changes from time to time based on something new factoring in by Google.

Hope this helps, and i think more experienced guys can give me further help here.
