Question New Site PR

Hi,
I just joined this forum (although I have been following it and have found it to be very helpful).
I have a new website (April 2004) and just received PR4 for my index page in the last update.
Is it normal to have PR only for the index page initially? And if so, how long does it take to filter
to the other pages?

I am still working on getting backlinks and TRYING to get listed in DMOZ. Any other comments or
suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Artisan

Yes, it is nothing to be concerned about. Your inner pages will probably get PR in the next update, however it sometimes takes 2 updates. It also depends upon how many inner pages Google has found and indexed. Patience is the key.

Yes it is normal at first. It can take a further update or 2 to get your other pages showing Pr.

external backlinks to inner pages could be very helpful for engines to index your inner pages more frequently.

My site is 4 months old, has PR 5 on the index, and 0-4 on the inner pages  (all on the same level)

So your situation is normal

I have a pr 4 website since last 2 month and still waiting for inner pages to get PR. I think it takes somewhere batween 1-3 updates for having PR of internal pages.
