Another good reason to not use IE. It was 4 or 5 securityupdates for IE yesterday.

Reading between the lines, are you saying that there is a toolbar replacement for another browser. That would be great. I hate IE, but use it anyway because of the toolbar. Otherwise I use netscape.

I searched for mozilla, which seems to be a browser, and got confused about firefox etc.

Specifically, what are you suggesting?

Mozilla / Firefox are open source browsers, built on the sourcecode of Netscape. The difference between Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox are explained here:

Love it! thanks for that link...I'm officially OFF of IE now...


now if I could just get lindows/linspire to install those 'few' windows programs I can't live without I'd be 100% off of Bill's monopoly all together...

going to checkout xandros.com for a windows desktop replacement OS soon, I here it comes pre-packaged with wine & other useful tools...
