No need to be hostile if you're not as lucky as others

I dont think he was being hostile, nor uncalm, i think he was talking about some one elses negativity towards their loss of PR, which he is right to point out that maybe his page doesnt deserve the PR it had. I had a site, bought URL in feb, in last update it got PR6 accross the board, which it didnt deserve. That dropped off eventually, no sour grapes mind you as it defo didnt deserve PR6.

Its just the way it is

[edits] Well, i take some of that back, the sub indexes of the site now have PR6 again, the main index ranked 2, beats me as to why this is, but i wont complain.

PR2

PR6 and so on

I have checked 21 of my domains so far and all have increased or stayed the same. this is based on toolbar, PR predictor tools, a site I use, etc. I have had a few get their first PR ( 0 to 1), a couple increase 3 to 4, one jumped from PR1 to PR4. The rest seemed to stay. Didn't lose on any (so far).

I have not seen any changes at all on 5 completely seperate domains, one of which was registered at the beginning of this year, which has had quite alot of link building - the other 4 domains have also had some further link building and are 3+years old.

Has this 'update' stalled again, like it did last time?

Yes it seems like it, i checked when this thread first started and both my new sites showed PR5 on 2 datacenters, but now they show PR0.

Maybe google made a mistake by updating those 2 datacenters toolbar PR and have now corrected/rolled back untill they are ready for a fullupdate.

I have an internal page showing a PR-6 now when it was a PR-2. My main index page is still the same at PR-3. Ahh, exciting times PR updates be

First: Pagerank had no relevance in anything that is not the index process i dont see why the big deal about this.. i generally dont make a huge scandale about pagerank, but it seem that everyone still concern of what pagerank you will have. I think there are more important things to worry first than worring about pageranks....

Second: They are new people in the forum, that maybe why this people had beeing posting their thoughs and experiences about this, but let me tell you something. You new guys are seeing the mask of google you need to try to find the face becuase there is where the main factor of ranking is... Titles and Descriptions are more impotant than pagerank..

I will like to see more people analyse their own websites and ask question like, do you think my title is good for getting clients? what are the main things potential clients identify in websites? how much time potential clients spend in my site? and how can i increase that time average?.. this questions are more important than... when do you think the pagerank will update? or even worst.. what pagerank do you think i will have?....

If the main factor of SE was pagerank i probably got a pagerank 10 long time ago....

There's not changes going on for me to see. I checked over a dozen sites with different tool that query tens of DCs but not track of anything going on related to a PR update. Anyone still seeing anything ?

incdeveloper, It always amazes me how people like you say PageRank is worthless. Wake up and open your eyes pal....

Not going to say anymore as you most likely wouldn't understand it, but pagerank can indirectly be the most important factor in getting a high ranking.
