Is there a way to estimate how much PR would pass based on outbound links on page?

Do any of you guys know of a rough way to estimate how much PR would pass to your website, based on the PR of the page your link is on, AND the number of outbound links contained on that page?

I just need a rough formula for this... Any ideas? Thanks

Brad

I think it's like 85% of the PR of the page divided by the number of links on the page. I'm not sure, but i think that's it.

Hmm... don't think that'll work. For example, Let's say my link is on a PR5 page that has 25 outbound links, including mine.

So that's 5 x .85 = 4.25
4.25 / 25 = .17

So, PR of .17 is transfered... Something does add up there...

Brad,

Bod Wakfer just wrote a great article on this.... http://www.sitepronews.com/archives/2004/jun/28.html

That should get you going. You can find him over at DP's forums if you have questions.
