my website home page PR is 5 but other internal pages(80%) pages PR is 0

can anyone tell me what could be the reason for that.

I also want to know how to properly inter-link our internal pages

Maybe the internal pages are new ? or You just received the PR. It takes a few updates before PR is passed around to the internal pages.

Can you navigate to the internal pages from your index page? If so, most internals will eventually be PR4s...

Also, if your internal page's titles are identical, that could be a reason Google hasn't indexed them.

They should gain pr in time - the internal pages take much longer than a home page.... don't really know why - but that's how it's been working...

you should have links to all the other pages an as many pages as possible...

First - check which pages are actually being indexed by google...

do a search for site:<yourdomain.com> and it will show all pages of you site that are in the cache.

If the pages that are showing PR0 are all the same number of clicks away from the homepage, then you just need to be patient.

Otherwise, it could be a couple of things:

1) google toolbar does not show accurate readings for urls with parameters. use this tool to confirm the PR http://top25web.com/pagerank.php

2) if you have long urls with paramaters, then google and other search engines may not index them. this can be resolved with a tool like mod_rewrite or isapirewrite.

If you want to post your domain it will be easier to give more insightful guidance.

yes, it'd be best if you'd post the domain.

beyond what's mentioned above, there are other things to avoid as well... namely needing forms to navigate, or using javascript for navigation. use plain text links as often as possible.

from there it's usually just a matter of time.
