ok i dont know if this is the right place to post but here goes.

well im carl and recently started getting into seo for the first website ive ever made,
doing good so far, got my site to page 2 on google just by doing arrticles, posting in my regular forums, and also promoting on facebook , twitter and youtube,

but am i missing anywhere else to be promoting? heard triond was good put so hard to get published.

any help or feedback would be most appreciated.

Are you just submitting to article directories? they will do you no good in the long run. Forums the same.. social media is good for getting traffic an interest but will be having no direct impact on your rankings.

I would guess your page 2 result is probably for a very low traffic keyword.

As seo_am says you need to do a bit of reading, check his sig links and read the stickies on the forum, if you have any specific questions then fire away after that.

ok thanks guys i will check this info out now, and my site is for free facebook credits. it kept jumpin from page 2 to 6 then to 4, but now its staying on page 2 and its nearly at the top of that. but im here for long run traffic like u say.
also going to make a couple more sites, this is like my test run.
