I want to reach as soones possible this rank. How can i do that?
1. add your link to directories
2. link exchange
3. emails to other sites for 1way links( maybe you are lucky)
PS: all from the same niche with your site

1 link or millions... it depends.
Several things enter into ahieving a PR6. It is all based upon backlinks... true. But, it is not just the number of backlinks. It is also dependent upon the PR level of the backlinks, i.e. the higher the PR the fewer you need. Also, it is greatly influenced by how many links exist on the page that links to you... the more links... the less juice you get. Probably the fastest way to get to a PR6 is to convince one or two PR10 pages, that have no other backlinks going out, to link to you.

Heh pr10 sites are only major sites like msn.com microsoft.com real.com etc.hard to convice that for that.Well according to iwebtool is enough to have 700 pr0 backlinks, what do you think about that?
There is no such thing as a true PR0. They would all have PR's that are somewhere between PR0 & PR1. So... to have several hundred PR1s might get you there dependent upon how many others are on the links page. There is no finite calculation. The true answer... It depends.

It depends upon how big your site is. If you have a big site it is harder to raise your PR.

It's good to take its quality and quantity of the links. DOnt just mainly do PR6. Just focus on the its Quality.
Correct me if I am wrong... but are you saying that any given PR is awarded to a site in total and not by the page? A larger site being more difficult to have any one page have an increase in PR cannotes that Google now awards site-wide PRs. Hmmmm... this is news to me.Originally Posted by EGOL
Same here, Correct me if I am wrong, as i know PR cames from the quality of inbound links, good content also consider the High Pr Site links to a site.. thanks
PR comes by any kind of links, quality is not required. Or it can even come by just one backlink. Buy a PR-8/9 homepage link with not more than 4 links on that page... i guess those are the only two ways, the second one is quick fix, in case u have a bag full of green..Originally Posted by jaguar-archie

Well... that would depend on where all the inbound links are focused and what you determine "raise your PR is"?Originally Posted by EGOL
If you focus on deeplinks - sure a longer time and site size is proportional [# of deep link backlinks]
But if your links all go to mainpage... no different than a small site to increase PR [unless an increase to you is 'every page'].
So one way... sure I'll buy this... but in practical application website size really isn't a factor.
I thort that a bigger site shares the link juice around more so for example if 100 litres of lj come in with a 100 pages than the lj is shared to the 100 pages. If 1000 pages than lj shared to 1000. I know its not equally shared. But this would make it harder to get large pr for biiger site as lj is being spread thinner.
