How often does Google reapply PR and will new entries have a PR0 until a recalc?

I am responsible for several publications' online presence. I have been working to flatten all the previously dynamic links using an ISAPI rewrite transformation dll. Now, Google visits my homepage daily and all the flat links off the homepage appear 48-72 hours later. Yea!

BUT: Though the homepage has a PR7 and the internal pages are only 1 click away via the new flattened links the internal pages all show a PR0. How often does Google reapply PR and will new entries have a PR0 until a recalculation?

These sites are content rich, many thousands of true articles with well formed meta-data, unique titles, and unique URLs.

Any insight at all would be most appreciated. Also, I have looked at sites like msnbc and msn's article pages also display PR0.

Brien, I think you should get PR6 with the next update for your inner pages. Almost the same happens with me for a website that has a PR5. I add 10 pages a day and in next google update I get them all PR4.

I also suggest you to get some links to your inner pages. Would be even better for you.

Thanks for the info. How often do the inner pages get updated for PR?

I am actively pursuing external links to my inner pages, but this task is daunting considering the volume of content -- over 150,000 unique published articles from an archive spanning over 5 years for 35 magazines... So that part is a marketing/business development nightmare!

We're starting with partnered sites using RSS feeds and requiring that the feed display mechanism not by client scripted and we'll see if that at least helps our current content rise.

Again, Thanks
