Angry How much more for PR 5 backlinks PR included
I am working hard for one of my site but could not reach from PR 4 to PR 5. I have very good links from good websites. The PR for the links are included below. No reciprocal and all are direct links no redirects and all are from same concept websites. Any expert in PR please help. How much more for PR5.

Are u sure 11 links from PR7, and 6 links from PR6...
You are surely going for atleast PR5-6+, within next PR update...

I think PR7 links some days before the google last pr update. In my backlinks it is showing 2 of pr7 links from 11. And one point which i missed. All the PR7 links are from the same website.

It takes about 2 PR updates before you actually the PR in the toolbar. BTW just because you can't see updated PR in the toolbar doesn't mean that you dont have updated PR. It's abit out of date.

Worry about your traffic not some stupid green bar.

I was optimizing my site for google but got it optimized for yahoo accidently. Now I am getting 10 times more traffic from yahoo then in google. Google is showing 25 backlinks, whereas yahoo is showing nearly 2500 backlinks(fluctuates for yahoo every 2-3 days). confused sorry I didn't mentioned I am a newbie in this confusing seo world.

I am very much talking about google pagerank as i don't know how to optimize the site for yahoo and I am unaware about yahoo's webrank. One more query in between. I have several good blogs with good traffic. Could I use that in anyway for my regular website. I saw somewhere that linking from blogs to a regular website is penalized.

Than you can simply link your competitors and get them banned couldn't you ??

Blog links just dont count so they dont hurt or benefit.

If I add my blog to my regular website will the PR not be transferred to the main website. For instance I would have a regular website as aaa.com and a blog as aaa.com/blog. I could easily achieve a PR5-6 for my blog but achieving it for regular website is like (

Well with these types of links you should have a STRONG PR6 or a low PR7.... just be patient until the next update... should happen before the end of the month.

I am basically a Programmer and work for several websites. I have a good relations with the people I work for. So I got links from those websites only. No hard work like you SEO guys do. The problem started when I used all my client websites based on my theme, then I could get only 2 PR4 website to link to me without any reciprocal link in last 15 days and 50 email requests. May god give me courage to try it further
